BRING YOUR ASSISTANT
Connect through MCP. Codex is verified with Mailrooom; Claude, Cursor and Copilot in VS Code require compatible remote MCP and OAuth settings. Logos belong to their respective owners.
See what your assistant can work with.
Filter by mailbox. Open a message.
Your read status stays untouched.
YOU’RE RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED TO BE
Fictional mail. Read-only preview. Nothing here changes your inbox.
A window into your mail. Your AI assistant is where the work happens.
Bring your IMAP accounts into Mailrooom, then connect an MCP-compatible assistant. Give it a way to read across your email accounts without handing the assistant your mailbox passwords.
ONE MCP ENDPOINT. YOUR INBOXES.Ask a compatible assistant to summarize your inboxes, read a message, or prepare a draft. Enable only the capabilities you need for each mailbox and authorization.
Review AI-created drafts in Mailrooom. Approve the exact sender, recipients, and text for one assistant send. The permission expires after five minutes, and you can revoke it.

Mailrooom connects it to your assistant.
Create and verify your account. Your workspace is isolated from other users.
Add your provider’s IMAP and SMTP settings, then verify the connection. Some providers require an app password.
Add Mailrooom’s MCP endpoint to a compatible assistant, then approve its requested access.
05 / A LITTLE CLARITY
Before you settle in.
Mailrooom connects your email to a compatible AI assistant. Its Mail tab is a read-only aggregated inbox. AI access includes draft review and approval, while your assistant handles drafting and permitted mail actions.
No. Mailrooom connects to your existing email accounts using their IMAP and SMTP settings. Your provider continues hosting your mail.
Your provider needs to allow IMAP access with secure TLS or STARTTLS. Add its server settings in Mailrooom and verify the connection to check compatibility. Some providers require an app password; provider-specific OAuth sign-in is not currently available.
An MCP-compatible assistant can request scoped permission to read messages or save drafts. Sending is optional and requires your review and approval of the exact draft in Mailrooom. You can revoke assistant access from the app.
The Mail tab displays a read-only plain-text view. Opening a message does not mark it read or change its stars. Your mailbox status comes from your email provider; remote images and executable email content do not load.
